JAPAN AIRPORT WINS AWARD FOR NOT HAVING LOST ONE BAG IN THREE DECADES

Kansai International Airport (KIX) in Japan has achieved an impressive milestone - it has never lost a single piece of luggage in 30 years of operation. The airport has even won the Skytrax award for World's Best Airport for Baggage Delivery 2024, a testament to its efficient and meticulous baggage handling processes. The airport, which serves 20-30 million passengers a year, attributes its success to the "multilayered checking work" of its staff, who carefully assess the types and number of bags for each plane and share information to prevent mistakes.

But wait…there’s more! The airport aims to get bags to the baggage claim within 15 minutes of the aircraft's arrival. Despite this remarkable achievement, the airport staff don't consider their work to be anything special, stating that they are simply doing their jobs. Sounds like the perfect place to visit.
